The prosecutor's office has again reopened the case of the "Palace Coup"

On February 20, 2012, information appeared that the St. Petersburg prosecutor’s office did not confirm the decision to stop the prosecution of activists of the art group “Voina” Oleg Vorotnikov and Leonid Nikolaev under paragraph “b” of Part 1 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism motivated by hatred) and returned him to the Investigative Committee.

Let us remind you that the case has already been dismissed twice. The last decision to terminate the case was made by the investigator of the investigative department for the Central District of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg for lack of evidence of a crime, since the repeated examination carried out in November 2011 did not find a motive of hatred against a social group in the actions of Vorotnikov and Nikolaev "police officers."
