Case against Tablighi Jamaat preacher in Buryatia

February 21, 2012 year it became known that back in 2011, the FBS of Russia for Buryatia initiated a criminal case under Part 2 of Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of a prohibited organization) in regarding the preacher from Ulan-Ude Saitov (name not reported). September 17 2011 October court of Ulan-Ude sentenced Saitov to one year in prison freedom on probation for two years.

Saitov accused of preaching in Ulan-Ude, holding meetings and studying Literature "Tablighi Jamaat".

We remind you that we do not consider it lawful to ban the organization, since how its participants do not preach violence and there is no evidence that they involved in violent practices.
