On February 28, 2012, it became known that deputies of the Perm City Duma decided to transfer the bishop's houses at the address: st. Okulova, 2 and st. Okulova, 2a.
Both buildings are objects of cultural heritage of regional importance and are included in the state register. According to historical information, the houses belonged to the Church until 1917 and were used as economic administration at episcopal departments for the maintenance of diocesan bishops.
The press service of the Perm administration emphasizes that the transfer of premises is carried out in accordance with the law and does not entail additional financial costs to the city budget.
Let us recall that the administration of Perm is quite active in transferring property into the ownership of the diocese, which is sometimes accompanied by conflicts .
