Vyatka priest cannot get fired even in court

February 21, 2012 The Kirov Regional Court overturned the decision of the Pervomaisky District Court Kirov, who in November 2011 made a decision obliging the local bishop fire priest Alexander Shchinov due to illness.

The proceedings were terminated. The regional court considered it possible to interfere in the affairs of the Church, since "the Church is separated from the state."

Rector of the Trinity Church in the village of Makarye and the village of Kstinino, Fr. Alexander Schinov turned to court in June 2011, without receiving any satisfaction from the Bishop of Vyatka about the enrollment for the staff, nor the work book.
