On March 19, 2012, the prosecutor's office of the Lakhdenpokhsky district of the Republic of Karelia announced that it had applied to the Lakhdenpokhsky district court with a statement about the " obligation of Mega Link LLC to stop the technical possibility of access for network users to sites " on which films were found recognized by the courts as extremist.

The possibility of access to sites with "extremist materials" was revealed during the prosecutor's check.
