To counter the clericalization of society, the Committee of National Worldview Consent of Russia was created

March 21, 2012 was the statement of the “initiative group of believers, atheists and agnostics” of Moscow was circulated and Petersburg, dedicated to the theme of the clericalization of the Russian society.

“ We are forced to state ,” the statement said, “ that the main threat the unity of Russian society today comes from a registered as religious organization of the Moscow Patriarchate (ROC MP). We are talking about the highest administration of the ROC MP, which some time ago began to position itself as "State Church ". The beginnings of a future national conflict are seen in the current local wars of the ROC MP - with museum workers, independent artists, media, hospital workers, residents of Moscow sleeping areas, who by force they are trying to impose temples within walking distance, clearing playgrounds for them and recreation areas .

Looking precisely at Russian Church "danger for a nascent civil society”, the authors of the statement call on Christians and atheists, people various religious, political, cultural and in general any kind beliefs" unite and resist the transformation of Orthodoxy into the state religion:

“ There are no more hopes for some kind of internal correction of the ROC-MP. How organization, it has excluded itself from dialogue with society, and even hinders their own ordinary believers and clerics to establish such a dialogue. That's why various social forces, carriers of a variety of worldviews - from Christian to atheistic - should negotiate only with each other and to demand in a consolidated manner from the state the execution of Article 14 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation ”.

Authors of the statement also announced the creation of the Committee of National Worldview Consent of Russia, the main goal which will become "restoration constitutional norms in the field of religious life of the country”.
