The trial in the case of Nizhny Novgorod antifa has started

March 23, 2012 in the Nizhny Novgorod District Court began consideration of the case of local anti-fascists. Recall that in December 2011 in Nizhny Novgorod it was charges were filed against local activists of the antifa movement Artyom Bystrov, Pavel Krivonosov, Oleg Gembaruk, Albert Gainutdinov and Dmitry Kolesov. All of them are charged under Part 2 of Art. 282.1 of the Criminal Code (participation in an extremist community), part 2 of Art. 213 (hooliganism committed by an organized group of persons or associated with resistance to a representative of the authorities), paragraph "b" part 2 Art. 115 and p. "b" part 2 of Art. 116 (respectively, intentional infliction slight bodily harm and beatings motivated by hatred or enmity towards social group), taking into account Part 3. Art. 35 (committing a crime organized group). All defendants in the case are charged with three episodes of clashes with "representatives of social groups of skinheads, football fans" .

In February 2012, the case went to trial.

The first hearing on the merits of the case is scheduled for April 4, 2012 of the year.
