The Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court confirmed the sentence to the followers of Said Nursi

On March 28, 2012, the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court upheld satisfaction of the cassation appeal against the verdict of the Leninsky District Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Novgorod according to Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of the activities of an extremist organization) in relation to the group followers of Said Nursi. Recall that E. Hasanov was sentenced to 1 year in prison for Part 1 Art. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of the activities of an extremist organization). Two members of the group were sentenced to 8 months in prison, three to 8 months in prison freedom conditionally for hours. 2 Article. 282.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (participation in the activities of an extremist organization).

We repeat: we do not consider the ban for extremism justified books of theologian Nursi, as well as the ban on the Nurcular organization, in Russia does not exist.
