A criminal case has been opened in the Vologda region for a xenophobic video on a social network

On April 3, 2012 Center "E" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Vologda region reported about the arrest of a Nazi skinhead who was distributing a xenophobic video via the Internet.

Young man on his page in a social network he posted a video with scenes of beating people from the Caucasus and Central Asia and calls for the forced eviction of these people outside the Russian Federation. Experts confirmed the presence of a hate motive in the video. Suspect confessed to what he had done.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Vologda Oblast opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation human dignity).

At the end of last year, the young man was sentenced by the Vologda by the district court to 8 months of imprisonment on probation for a similar crime .
