Moscow authorities again promised to restore Rogozhskaya Sloboda

On April 3, 2012, the press service of Mosgostroynadzor announced intention to start the restoration of the Old Believer historical and architectural ensemble "Rogozhskaya Sloboda". It is planned to build engineering communications and road network, exemption from non-core use of the territory, demolition buildings that distort the historical character of the settlement. In addition, it is planned to restore Church of the Nativity, Pokrovsky Cathedral, bell tower, restoration of houses clergy, metropolitan garden and ponds.

Recall that earlier the Moscow authorities refused to restore freedom.
