Roskomnadzor issued new warnings
April 3, 2012 The Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Communications, information technologies and mass communications (Roskomnadzor) updated list of "anti-extremist" warnings issued to media outlets in 2012.
Since March 2012, the following warnings have appeared in the list:
- The editors of the newspaper "In Their Own Names" for the publication of the article by A. Sivov "View from Ukraine" in No. 6 (74) on February 7, 2012 G.
Article A. Sivova "View from Ukraine: foolish Moscow protest" is dedicated to the protest rally on Bolotnaya Square in Moscow on December 10, 2012. The author expresses dissatisfaction with the insufficient activity of the protesters “why Ukrainian nationalists did not hesitate to adjust fuel truck to the Verkhovna Rada, with threats to blow it up, and the Moscow impotents never used such a purely European means of protest as a “cocktail Molotov"? “Summing up the rich experience of political work,” the author advises “all the leaders who interfere with heating up the situation, destabilizing it - to drive as provocateurs. Any negotiations with the authorities are an unnecessary waste of energy. The only thing, what all this power of ghouls deserves, whether in Ukraine, or in your Moscow - aspen stake.
Recall that the newspaper "In Their Own Names" is the successor to the newspaper "To the barrier", closed in April 2011. In my queue "To the Barrier" is the successor to the newspaper "Duel", also closed after years of litigation. Recall that earlier “In Their Own Names” received a warning from Roskomnadzor for publishing an article “The Kremlin pushes the people to revolution” in No. 11 (29) of March 15, 2011 and a warning for the publication of N.P. Zubkov "What to do? Revolution! in No. 31 (48) of August 2, 2011, materials "Crush the Rat Front!" and "The people will win!" in No. 33 (50) of August 16, 2011 And in the fall of 2011, Roskomnadzor applied to the Moscow city court with a lawsuit to terminate the activities of the newspaper Svoimiyami.
- The editors of the newspaper "Rush Hour in Upper Pyshma" for the publication of the material "Gypsy Passions on Prigorodnaya Street" in No. 32 (403) dated August 17, 2011 We consider this warning unlawful. The article is devoted to the problems of interaction between the inhabitants of one of the streets on the outskirts of Verkhnyaya Pyshma and the gypsies located in the neighborhood in numerous tents and vans. Local residents are concerned about various communal issues that naturally arise in connection with the camping life of their new neighbors, but city services remain deaf to requests to look into the situation. The article contains several unfriendly to the gypsies, but very restrained statements, which, in our opinion, do not deserve the attention of Roskomnadzor.
