In Lukin, near Moscow, conflicts between the monastery and its neighbors continue

April 6 2012, it became known that the claim of the Holy Cross Exaltation of Jerusalem stauropegial convent in the village of Lukina, Domodedovo district Moscow region to the horticultural non-profit partnership "Eskulap" was sent for a new consideration in Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region.

In his claim the monastery demanded that the high-pressure gas pipeline be recognized as unauthorized construction, spent by the partnership on the monastery land, and insisted on compensation for the inflicted the monastery of losses due to "the inability to use the land for its intended purpose."

At present time, a draft settlement agreement is being discussed, one of the conditions of which presupposes the transfer of the gas pipeline “built without the consent of the monastery” to the property of the monastery.

According to representatives of the monastery, the board of "Aesculapius" includes employees rehabilitation center "Childhood", with which the monastery was in conflict on for several years.
