April 6, 2012 Chapter legal service of the Russian Orthodox Church Ksenia (Chernega) told reporters about the simplification of the procedure transfer of religious property to religious organizations.
According to her, the government has reduced the list of documents which must be provided by religious organizations claiming their rights. Currently, the set of documents includes:
religious organization statement
constituent documents of the applicant religious organization and its center
the consent of the "center" of the religious organization to the transfer,
receipt for sending the application of the religious organization to the address of the organization that occupies the premises,
-draft security obligation, agreed with the "center" religious organization.
Excluded from the list of documents:
archival certificates containing information about confessional property belongings,
certificates of bodies for the protection of cultural heritage about attribution of property to objects of cultural heritage,
certificates of ownership of the property to the museum, archival or library fund
documents confirming the entry of a religious organizations in the unified state register of legal entities.
The lawyer draws attention to the fact that the government's decision "is based on new version of the federal law "On the organization of the provision state and municipal services" (dated December 31, 2011).
