NOMP joined the religious procession

April 15, 2012 in the afternoon in Volgograd, activists of the "Narodny militia named after Minin and Pozharsky" (NOMP) joined the Easter procession.

The media recorded about ten imperial flags and a swastika from one of the nationalists.

The clergy apologized to the rest of the participants in the procession. "Some political forces enjoy the authority of the church and want to establish themselves in public eyes by joining the procession. Pre they did not coordinate anything with the clergy, they stood in a column as ordinary laity, and only then unfurling the flags," said the rector of the monastery in the Volga, hegumen Lazar (Kulikov).

The police said that there was no reason to withdraw their columns, because. they did not do anything that the law forbade: they did not shout slogans, did not interfere with the movement, did not agitate anyone.
