April 19, 2012 The Tagansky District Court of Moscow has extended the arrest of Pussy Riot members Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Ekaterina Samutsevich until June 24.
The main argument in favor of extending the arrest for the court was fear that the girls will hide from the investigation and the court.
Recall that we do not consider it lawful to prosecute those accused of participating in actions in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism committed by a group of persons by prior agreement), and, accordingly, their arrest under criminal accusation.
