A verdict was passed in Novgorod in the case of an attack by Nazi skinheads on anti-fascists

In April 2012, the World Court of Veliky Novgorod ruled verdict in the case of the attack by the far right on a group of young people whom they mistaken for anti-fascists.

There were three nationalists in the dock: D. Machulsky, V. Doli and N. Saveliev. The last two were charged under paragraph "b" part 2 of Art. 116 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of beatings based on political and ideological hatred), and D. Machulsky under paragraph “b” part 2 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of minor bodily harm motivated by hatred).

The court found the young people guilty and sentenced D. Machulsky to 160 hours of compulsory work, and V. Doli and N. Saveliev - to 170 hours of compulsory work.

It should be noted that all three defendants claimed that the fight was of a domestic nature.
