A meeting of supporters and opponents of the construction of a temple in the Voikovsky district of Moscow took place at the Moscow City Duma

April 23 2012 in the Moscow City Duma as part of a meeting of the Commission on Culture and Mass Communications and the Commission on Public Associations and Religious organizations considered the appeal residents dissatisfied with the construction of a modular temple at the address: 6th Novopodmoskovny lane, property 7.

Representative initiative group of residents, Yana Vorobieva reported deputies that

-  “when allocating land for construction were violated,

-  "a number of approvals have not been received",

-  "Protocol on the results of public residents are currently challenging in court."

Residents suggest finding another place for temple construction.

Representatives of the urban planning department politicians, the department of land resources, the prefecture of the district and the administration of the Voikovsky district noted that all approvals have been received, and find another "free plot is almost impossible”, because “The Voikovsky district is built up very tight." However, the committee architecture and urban planning continues to search for alternative sites.

Dean of the North district noted that "in search for a compromise, it is necessary to take into account not only the opinion of the inhabitants of nearby houses, but also of all the inhabitants of the district.

Remember that Vladimir Resin promised the residents of the Voikovsky district to find a new place for construction temple in November 2011.
