On April 24, 2012, the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg announced the completion of the investigation of the criminal case against 27-year-old Alexei Voevodin. It follows from the materials of the criminal case that Voevodin and Dmitry Borovikov (instituting a criminal case was refused due to his death) on the evening of February 3, 2004, near one of the houses on Dachny Prospekt, during a conflict with a group of young people, stabbed one of them several times . The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died a few hours later.
The prosecutor approved the indictment in the criminal case, in the near future it will be sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
