On April 24, 2012, the Prosecutor's Office of North Ossetia-Alania announced the initiation of a case on administrative production under Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (production and distribution extremist materials) against the owner of the “Islamic Goods” store from the village of Kizlyar, Mozdok district, where the book “The Life of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and welcome”, included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials, was found for sale (p. 926).
Based on the results of the case, the court suspended the activity individual entrepreneur, the book was confiscated.
Also, the district prosecutor issued the owner of the store warning about the inadmissibility of violating the Federal Law "On counteracting extremist activity".
The book was found in the store as part of the work of the interdepartmental working group on countering extremism, by the prosecutor's office of the Mozdok district, together with the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Center for the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania and the department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in Mozdok.
