Fascist symbols on Victory Day

May 9, 2012 in St. Petersburg on the fence near Troitsky bridge, on the Palace Embankment and Leninsky Prospekt appeared fascist symbols.

On the night of May 9, unknown vandals painted an image of Hitler on the fence near Troitsky bridge and wrote "Hitler is alive"

In addition, on May 9, vandals painted a portrait of Hitler on Palace Embankment and hung a banner with a swastika next to the Leninsky Prospekt railway platform.

As clarified in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Central District, a stencil drawing of Hitler was found on the parapet next to house 6 on Palace Embankment. Next to him, unknown people made the inscription “Hitler is alive. The war continues." Also, at about 6 am, a banner measuring 120 by 200 centimeters with a swastika and the inscription “We won once, we will win now” appeared on the fence of the Leninsky Prospekt platform at about 6 am, adds the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kirovsky District.

At the time of writing the news, the banner had already been removed, and the inscriptions and drawings on the Palace Embankment had been removed.
