For the first time in the history of Moscow, the city programs “Culture” and “Town Policy” work in relation to the urban development of the capital for the first time in harmony with the issues of preserving the historical environment of the city. This was announced on May 15 at a press conference in Moscow by the head of the Moscow Cultural Heritage Department Alexander Kibovsky, the Construction World reports.
“The program“ Culture of Moscow ”has a special section for the preservation of monuments. And there is a program “Urban Policy”, where there is also a subprogram of the reconstruction and development of the historical center. They are patronal: our subsection is part of the urban planning program, ”the head of the Moscow City Highlights emphasized.
Kibovsky noted that the work to preserve cultural heritage objects, primarily in the historical center of Moscow, consists of a number of events. Among them - the provision of preferential “rental for 1 ruble” subject to the restoration of buildings, a program for reconstruction of 57 streets in the center of Moscow, holding days of historical and cultural heritage and much more.
It is important that the initiatives of the capital's government, including the implementation of the so -called “principle of 1 euro”, which has long and successfully applied in many countries of the world, find the full support of the expert community. “In the historical part of the capital, there are many old buildings that no one has been involved in. It will not be possible to implement such a large -scale task only at the expense of the city budget. The principle of 1 euro is an effective way to find worthy, real partners, and not speculators -raiders who abandon objects, ”the head of the department emphasized.
“There is a clear attitude of the mayor - over three years, the historical center of Moscow should fully put in order: to complete what you can, to improve and continue to maintain in a worthy state. This is a macrosada, ”concluded the head of the Moscow City Council.
