Arkhangelsk: a verdict has been rendered in yet another case of xenophobic comments on a forum

May 31, 2012 Lomonosovsky district court of the city Arkhangelsk issued a verdict in the case of inciting ethnic hatred (Part 1 Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and calls for extremist activity (part 1 of article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

A 28-year-old local resident was in the dock Sergei Naumov, who was accused of being from 1 to 4 November last year posted several anti-Azerbaijani comments.

The court found the young man guilty and sentenced to 80 hours of compulsory work.

Recall that in January of this year in Arkhangelsk a verdict was passed in an absolutely similar case: a local resident was accused under Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for anti-Azerbaijani comments.
