2 criminal cases have been opened in Chita regarding neo-Nazi calls on the VKontakte network

On June 1, 2012, the Prosecutor's Office of the Trans-Baikal Territory announced that two criminal cases were initiated in Chita under Part 1 of Art. 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for extremist activity).

The first case was filed against a graduate student Chita State Medical Academy, which according to law enforcement agencies created a neo-Nazi group on VKontakte and published xenophobic statements and racist slogans on his page.

The second case was filed against a minor a young man who also published on his page on the VKontakte network neo-Nazi statements and photographs, which he supplied with the relevant signatures.

Both young men are under house arrest.
