5 June 2012, the Sverdlovsky District Court of Kostroma reported that satisfied the application of the prosecutor's office of the region and recognized as extremist a leaflet directed against employees of the Russian police. The decision of the court entered into force.
Despite the fact that the text of the leaflet, in fact, contains extremely unflattering language about the "anti-people police" and a call to "cleanse" the country of such a thing (devoid, however, of any there were no specifics), we consider it unlawful to ban it for extremism. From our point of view, law enforcement officers should not be seen as vulnerable a social group that falls under the protection of anti-extremist legislation, Russian legislation provides for other articles to protect them.
