Archpriest Dimitry Smirnov: “Gather the people, smash this sect!”

In early June 2012, it became known that on May 6, on the air of the Orthodox Soyuz TV channel, head of the Synodal Department for Cooperation with the Armed Forces forces and law enforcement agencies, Archpriest Dimitry Smirnov, answering to the complaint of a viewer, he advised to fight the "sects" with the help of force.

On the eve of the inauguration of the president, the archpriest expressed his wish: “We we want our president to do as it was under the Soviet Union, so that not a single filthy sect can act here as it does at home Houses!"

The priest advised "to outlaw all totalitarian sects." At the same time, he compared the NRM with financial pyramids, and called their followers “malicious creatures."

Then Father Demetrius called on those who do not like the activity NRM: “Gather the people, smash this sect!”

In addition, he advised complaining about "sectarians" in police, court, prosecutor's office and the State Duma. “It is necessary to do so that the earth burns under feet of these freaks!” - said the priest.
