On June 21, 2012, the media of the city of Vladivostok (Primorsky Territory) reported attacks by Nazi skinheads on the homeless in the area of Cape Churkin.
In June, unknown assailants attacked a homeless man, doused him with gasoline and set his feet on fire.
According to media reports, " recently there have been three corpses on skinheads in camouflage ." Details about these victims were not reported.
The newspaper also reports that in April 2012, unknown persons in a sewer stabbed two homeless people and tried to burn them alive. One of the men died in hospital from multiple injuries.
According to local residents, attacks on the homeless have not occurred for the first time.
According to some reports, Nazi skinheads have become more active on Churkin, who may be involved in the attacks. The media report that, according to unofficial estimates, there are only about 100 Nazi skinheads in Vladivostok.
