The Union of Orthodox Brotherhoods demanded a ban on the “anti-Christian” rock festival in Vladivostok

On June 27, 2012 it became known that the coordinator of the Union Orthodox brotherhoods Yuri Ageshchev issued an open letter on rock festival "Lucifer Rising Fest 2012", which should take place at the end of August in Vladivostok.

The representative of the SPB is outraged that the participants are selected "exclusively satanic type", and on the page of the festival "VKontakte" there are "pictures with naked "divas" on the cross and other blasphemy."

Yu.Ageshchev demands to ban the festival and intends to appeal to about this to the governor.

The head of the festival, Ivan Ipatov, promised to go to court, if the Orthodox disrupt the festival.

“We will not call Satan, perform rituals, we will not have children we cut. If he (Yu.Ageshchev - Ed.) tries, hiding behind the Bible, to disrupt festival, then I will talk to him in court, already on the basis of the Constitution, Code of Administrative Offenses. It seems that in the Criminal Code under there will be norms for his actions,” I. Ipatov said.
