Arkhangelsk: another verdict in a series of cases of xenophobic comments on the forum

June 22, 2012 Solombala district court of the city Arkhangelsk passed a verdict in the case of inciting ethnic hatred (Part 1 Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and calls for extremist activity (part 1 of article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

A 40-year-old local resident was in the dock Dora Tsenova, who was accused of having published on February 19, 2012 on the website www.havahava.ru in the "Empire Plus" section under the name "Guest" anti-Caucasian comments and calls for violence.

The court found the woman guilty and sentenced to 8 months correctional labor conditionally (according to Article 73 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, conditional, may be recognized punishment in the form of corrective labor, restrictions on military service, detention in a disciplinary military unit or imprisonment for a term up to eight years).

Recall that on May 31 in the Arkhangelsk region for anti-Azerbaijani comments on the same website www.havahava.ru was convicted 28-year-old Sergei Naumov.
