- On December 27, 2012, the prosecutor's office of the Umetsky district of the Tambov region announced that it had made a submission to the head of the branch of the rural post office of the Kirsanovsky post office, located in the working settlement of Umet.

Organizations engaged in the provision of telematic services must restrict access to such materials by adding rules for filtering the IP addresses of the specified site on the border router without specifying the restriction period. The submission also raised the issue of disciplinary responsibility of the perpetrators.
- On December 25, 2012, the prosecutor's office of the Oktyabrsky district of the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk region, filed 4 lawsuits with a request to the provider CJSC Uralwestcom to block access to several sites with prohibited content. - On December 24, 2012, the prosecutor's office of the Frunzensky district of the city of Vladivostok submitted a proposal to eliminate violations of the law on countering extremism by Vladlink LLC. During the monitoring of the Internet, the fact of free access to three Internet sites recognized as extremist and included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials was revealed. The application of the prosecutor's office was considered and satisfied. Access to these websites is restricted.
- On December 19, 2012, the prosecutor's office of the city of Gelendzhik announced that it had issued a warning about the inadmissibility of carrying out extremist activities to the director of the branch of MTS OJSC in the city of Novorossiysk. This site was recognized as extremist by the decision of the Inta City Court of the Komi Republic and included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials.
- On December 21, 2012, the prosecutor's office of the Yagodninsky district of the Magadan region announced that it had sent a statement of claim to the Yagodninsky district court on the obligation of the Internet operator to restrict access to the page where the "Book of Monotheism" was posted, recognized as extremist and included in the "Federal List of Extremist Materials" , by blocking access to the domain name on its technical means. - On December 17, 2012, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Karachay-Cherkess Republic reported that one of the Internet clubs in Cherkessk provided access to a site containing extremist materials. The fact of access to the site was revealed by the employees of the Center for Environmental Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the KChR in an Internet club located on Kirov Square in Cherkessk. Law enforcers drew up an act, on the basis of which punishment will be determined in relation to the management of the club and the Internet provider that did not block access to the site.

- On December 13, 2012, the prosecutor's office of the Kirovsky district of Ufa of the Republic of Bashkiria announced that it had checked the computers installed in the hall of the Office of the Federal Postal Service of the FSUE Russian Post branch. - On November 30, 2012, the prosecutor's office of Morshansk, Tambov region, announced that it had sent a statement obliging RosTelecom OJSC, represented by the Tambov branch, to restrict access by adding domain name filtering rules to the Internet site on the border router.
During the supervisory activities, the prosecutor's office discovered that from a computer installed in the central hall of the Morshansky post office of the Federal Post Office of the Tambov Region, a branch of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Russian Post, there is free access to the site and materials of an extremist nature posted on it. This site and the materials posted on it, by the decision of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk City Court of the Sakhalin Region of July 13, 2012, were recognized as extremist and included in the list of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation.

On November 13, 2012, the prosecutor's office of the Leninsky district of the city of Penza announced that it had filed a lawsuit with the court to impose on OJSC Rostelecom the obligation to indefinitely restrict the access of subscribers (individuals and legal entities) to Internet sites containing materials from the "Book of Monotheism" by blocking DNS names of the specified sites on DNS servers in the Penza region. At the court session, the representative of OAO Rostelecom agreed with the claim. Based on the results of the consideration of the case, the court issued a decision to satisfy the claims of the prosecutor of the Leninsky district of the city of Penza. Earlier, during the prosecutor's check, it was discovered that the book of Muhammad ibn Suleiman at-Tamimi "The Book of Monotheism" was available on the pages of Internet sites, recognized by the decision of the Savelovsky District Court of Moscow on April 2, 2004 as extremist.

- On October 22, 2012, the Kirovsky District Court of Astrakhan ordered two backbone providers, MegaFon and Volgatranstelecom, to close access to 45 addresses on the Internet, where a recording of the film "Innocence of Muslims" was posted. On August 29, 2012, the prosecutor's office of the Tyumen region announced that it had identified a free web service on the Internet, on the platform of which 28 sites were created. Among other things, the sites published materials promoting the ideas of Nazism and publicly demonstrating Nazi symbols. The prosecutor's office sent claims to the courts of the Krasnogorsk, Sinarsky districts of Kamensk-Uralsky, Verkh-Isetsky district of Yekaterinburg against the providers KamenskTelecom LLC, Konveks-Kamensk LLC, the Ural Macroregional Branch of OJSC Rostelecom.
KamenskTelecom LLC fulfilled the demands of the prosecutor voluntarily.
