The leader of the neo-Nazi group NS\/WP was released in St. Petersburg

On July 6, 2012, the St. Petersburg City Court delivered a verdict in the case of the leader of the neo-Nazi group NS / WP (recognized as extremist), 21-year-old Georgy Timofeev .

G. Timofeev pleaded guilty, agreed with the charges brought against him. Since he had previously made a deal with the investigation and helped him, the court sentenced Timofeev to 13 years in prison in a strict regime colony.

Recall that Timofeev was accused of committing 7 murders, 4 attempted murders, blowing up a bus stop . In particular, he was suspected of the murder of a native of Uzbekistan in April 2009 near the Ladozhskaya metro station, the murder of a homeless man in August 2009 near the Avtovo metro station, the murder of a native of Armenia in August 2009 near the Nalichny Bridge, and the murders of natives of Uzbekistan in September and October 2009 near the Yelizarovskaya metro station and in the vicinity of the Kupchino metro station, the murder of a citizen of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau Carlos Mendy in December 2009 near the Prospect Veteranov metro station, the attempted murder of three men and one woman.

Timofeev was charged with: p.p. "a", "g", "l" part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder motivated by national hatred); p.p. "a", "c" part 2 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of national hatred with the use of violence); Part 3 Art. 30 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, p.p. "g", "l" part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder motivated by national hatred); p.p. "a", "c" part 2 of Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act); h.h. 1, 3 art. 223 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal manufacture of explosives); Part 3 Art. 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal possession of weapons).

On February 6, 2023, Georgy Timofeev was released from a colony in the Urals, he plans to return to St. Petersburg.

We also recall that another 10 people are involved in the group's case: Valentin Mumzhiev (b. 1990), Vladimir Mumzhiev (b. 1986), German Wengerveld (b. 1989), Kirill Prisyazhnyuk (b. 1987). ), Artem Zavyalov (born 1991), Arseniy Miroshnichenko (born 1990), Dmitry Abalishin (born 1992), Roman Veits (born 1990), and underage Evgeny K. Another member of the group, Dmitry Nedugov (born 1992), also made a deal with the investigation and was convicted in April 2012.
