Residents of Novoshakhtinsk opposed the congress of Jehovah's Witnesses
On June 29, 2012, local residents of Novoshakhtinsk, Rostov Region, protested against holding a congress of Jehovah's Witnesses. In protest, a dump truck of dung was dumped in front of the entrance to the Kingdom Hall grounds.
According to community members, the dump truck, driving off, cut off the city's power line and damaged the telephone wire.
The believers turned to the police.
