On July 18, 2012, the Zhiguli City Court of the Samara Region issued a sentence under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code (actions aimed at inciting hatred or enmity, humiliation of human dignity) to 19-year-old Alexei Samoilov.
Recall that in the fall of 2011, 19-year-old Samoilov posted on his page on the VKontakte social network images with scenes of violence against the natives of the North Caucasus, as well as cartoons on them. In addition, Samoilov published leaflets and poems calling for violence against "non-Slavs".
Some of these materials were recognized as extremist by decisions of the Sterlitamak City Court of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Krasnoarmeysky District Court of the city of Volgograd and included in the Federal List of Extremist Materials. Recall that in April 2011 Strerlitamak city the court recognized as extremist a leaflet with the text “Yegor Sviridov was killed by Caucasians. Russian, it's time to fight back. One for all - all for one "(clause 892 of the Federal list of extremist materials ), and the Krasnoarmeisky District Court of Volgograd in November 2010 banned 10 racist videos and 11 neo-Nazi videos at once images (paragraphs 927-947 of the Federal List of Extremist Materials ). Among banned videos was, for example, a video of the ultra-right group Format-18 under titled "The Execution of a Traitor".
According to the results of the prosecutor's check, the question of criminal prosecution of the Internet user was raised before the investigating authorities, and a criminal case was initiated .
The court sentenced Samoilov to 6 months of suspended liberty with a probationary period of 6 months.
