Warnings to Jehovah's Witnesses in Kalmykia

On July 20, 2012, the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kalmykia reported that that in the course of checking compliance with the legislation on countering extremist activities carried out by her jointly with the Center for Combating Extremism Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kalmykia, at B., a resident of the village of Peschany, a member of the local community Jehovah's Witnesses, Witness literature was confiscated.

Among the seized are 19 books included to the Federal List of Extremist Materials.

B. and the leader of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Peschanoe are prosecuted warnings against distribution, manufacture, or storage in to disseminate extremist materials.
