The court refused to bring Patriarch Kirill and Vladimir Putin as witnesses in the Pussy Riot case

July 23, 2012 in the Khamovniki court Moscow held regular preliminary hearings in the case under Part 2 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism committed by a group of persons by prior agreement on the grounds of hatred) in relation to Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Ekaterina Samutsevich.

The court denied the application defense demanding to be called as witnesses in the case of Patriarch Kirill and Vladimir Putin.

The date of the next meeting is determined - 30 July 2012. The meeting will be open to the public.
