In Cheboksary, leaders of the “Spiritual Foundations of Man” course were convicted of fraud

August 2, 2012 Kalininsky the district court of Cheboksary passed a verdict against the head of the courses "Spiritual Fundamentals of Man” by Igor Novoselov and his assistant Anastasia Prokopyeva, accused of exerting "psychological influence" on students in order to seizure of their property and money.

I. Novoselov and A. Prokofieva found guilty under Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud).

Leader sentenced to 6.5 years in prison and a fine of 100 thousand rubles, his assistant - to 3.5 years deprivation of liberty. By a court verdict, they recovered the amount of damage caused (3, 2 million rubles).
