"Northern Brotherhood" recognized as extremist

On August 6, 2012, the Moscow City Court recognized the interregional public association "Northern Brotherhood" as extremist.

The association's manifesto stated that the purpose of the "brotherhood" was to preserve the " Russian middle class " and " Russian civilizational tendencies " as the vanguard of the "white race" in opposition to Russian " imperial anti-people corrupt state ", as well as with "ethnic mafias" and with the " global civilizational crisis ". The organization's website was recognized as extremist in March 2008, the leaders of the "Northern brotherhood” Anton Mukhachev (Fly) and Oleg Troshkin were convicted under Art. 282.1 (organization of an extremist community") of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (both - in conjunction with Art. 159 UK (fraud). And the ideologist of the organization, Pyotr Khomyakov, was arrested by the FSB in September 2011.

Based on the results of the audit, the prosecutor of the capital sent a statement to the court in accordance with Art. 9 of the Federal Law "On counteracting extremist activity" on the recognition of the interregional public association "Northern Brotherhood" as extremist and the ban on its activities. By decision of the court, the prosecutor's application was satisfied in full.
