An 18th-century temple that previously belonged to the Philharmonic Society was transferred to the Tula Metropolis

In early August 2012, the Church of the Nativity in Chulkovskaya Sloboda (XVIIΙ century) was transferred to the Tula Metropolis of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The temple is located in the Proletarsky district of Tula on Karl Marx Street (formerly Rozhdestvenskaya). The building for a long time was the repository of the Tula Regional Philharmonic.
