Some bloggers even saw a political motive in this. Well, brothers, you can’t do that. Look for the hidden meaning in every “sneeze.” Your humble servant has already given an ethical and psychological characterization of our leader. One of his main features is pedantry, and even deeper, the fear of the surrounding world inherent in a pedant. Such a person acts only according to a pre-thought-out scenario; all kinds of uncertainty and surprise cause him fear. This has already been proven more than once. Remember his speech to his supporters, well, where he also called to “die near Moscow.” And I lost my way. Why? Large masses of people whose behavior cannot be completely “directed” always frighten the pedant. And tears on my cheeks when speaking on Manezhnaya Square, after the announcement of victory in the elections. The same. And in this case, his heart simply sank from surprise.

If we are talking about Putin’s visit to the monastery, the more interesting question is what goals this visit pursued. Unfortunately, no one asks this question.
