Attack on a rally of leftist parties in Chita

September 1, 2012 at the Theater Square in the city of Chita a rally organized by leftist parties was attacked.

It is reported that 5 young people ran out into the square, faces which were covered with masks and hoods, and began to attack the protesters and throw tomatoes at them. Those gathered rebuffed the attackers, and they fled. No harm done.

According to eyewitnesses, the young people were neo-Nazis. However, according to other sources, only one of the attackers " behaved like a Nazi ."
