Lipetsk region: fine for a prohibited video on a social network

At the end of August 2012 in the Lev-Tolstovsky district of the Lipetsk regional court delivered a verdict in an administrative case on the mass distribution of extremist materials (Article 20.29 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation).

The defendant in the case was a resident of the district, who published on his page in one of the social networks a banned video “Russian Resistance”, included in the Federal List extremist materials (p. 758).

The court found the young man guilty and fined.

The verdict has already entered into force.
