On September 6, 2012, the Prosecutor General's Office announced that it had approved the indictment in a criminal case against one from the founders and leaders of the organization "Northern Brotherhood" Peter Khomyakov. The materials of the criminal case were sent to the Gagarinsky District Court of Moscow for consideration on the merits.
In the final Khomyakov was charged under Part 1 of Art. 282.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of an extremist community) and part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud committed by an organized group or in especially large).
Recall that Pyotr Khomyakov, together with Anton Mukhachev (Fly), Alexander Mironov (Sokol), Oleg Troshkin and " other unidentified persons "created the far-right Northern Brotherhood group (the organization was recognized as extremist in August 2012, the organization's website was recognized as extremist in March 2008), and in October 2007 - and the Internet project “Big Game. Break the System” (the project was recognized as extremist in January 2010). Khomyakov organized propaganda and agitation of community ideas, recruited supporters, financed activities, participated in meetings of leaders, and performed other leadership functions.
In particular, Khomyakov organized the distribution of books written by him, published within the framework of series "Svarogov Square". Among these publications was the book “Own and strangers: the drama of ideas. In 2007 he wrote and distributed the book "The Technotronic Avesta Sacred Cosmogony of the White Man". In both books, experts saw signs of incitement to hatred.
In addition, Khomyakov, using his official position - position of deputy head of the department of geoecological survey of Spetsmetroproekt LLC, committed the theft of funds organizations in the amount of more than 3 million rubles.
The investigation of this criminal case was carried out by the Investigative Department of the FSB of the Russian Federation.
A. Mukhachev and O. Troshkin have already been convicted.
In September 2011, Khomyakov was arrested by the FSB of the Russian Federation.
