The sentence for anti-Semitic calls on the Internet came into force

On August 24, the verdict passed by the Syzran city court to 25-year-old Vyacheslav Zaitsev, who was found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (incitement of national hatred) and sentenced to 15 thousand rubles fine. The verdict was handed down on August 13, 2012.

The criminal case against Zaitsev was initiated in January 2012 after anti-Semitic materials found on the Internet were handed over to the police department. According to the results of psycholinguistic research, the texts contain direct appeals " aimed at inciting ethnic hatred or enmity ".

According to law enforcement agencies, Zaitsev is an active member of the RNE and is involved in the propaganda of right-wing radical ideology. He went to a reform school.
