Prot. Vsevolod Chaplin asks the Moscow government to voice its official position on the demolition of the Protestant church in Novokosin

September 7, 2012 arch. Vsevolod Chaplin, Head of the Commission on the issues of harmonization of interethnic and interreligious relations, addressed with an open letter to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow Alexander Gorbenko with a request to control the situation around the destruction of the Protestant church in Novokosin.

" Without assessing the legal aspects this situation, at the same time I would ask you to take it under control, mindful of that the feelings of believers in relation to the building in which they perform prayer, are worthy of respect and always need special attention ,” the letter says.

The priest asked A. Gorbenko " to formulate the position of the Moscow government on the issue of demolished church .
