The Moscow City Court sentenced Tatyana Tarasova for posting the article “The Role of Women in Jihad” on the website.
September 13, 2012 Moscow City Court found Tatyana Tarasova guilty under Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for terrorist activities) in connection with the posting on the website of the Islamic Committee of the article "The role women in jihad", signed with the name of Yusuf al-Iyeri.
The court sentenced her to one and a half years of probation. The verdict states that " from the moment of committing four years have passed , ... the crime has lost its public importance, and the real term of punishment seems to be too harsh ."
T. Tarasova pleaded guilty.
