"Open Government" asked for a billion

The Minister of Open Government Mikhail Abyzov asked Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev a billion rubles for the work of the institute in 2013, on Thursday, September 27, Kommersant , with reference to his own sources. Abyzov in his letter Medvedev specified that the money would not be needed for experts, but for information and analytical work. Abyzov proposes to make appropriate amendments in the budget for 2013-2015, which on the eve was introduced by the head of the Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov in the State Duma at a meeting of the United Russia faction.

Abyzov asked Medvedev to introduce an amendment to the budget on additional financing of the Academy of National Economy (RANEPA) and the Higher School of Economics (Higher School of Economics) in the framework of the “open government”, and the money should be distributed between the institutions in half.

Recall that initially “an open government was formed on a voluntary basis. The newspaper notes that in 2013, 3.9 billion rubles were requested for the maintenance of the entire White House, and the presidential administration - 5.4 billion rubles. Medvedev and his seven deputies require only 48.9 million rubles a year. We are talking about salaries, and Abyzov asked for money only for research.

Recall that the draft budget for 2013-2015 caused serious disputes. Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized the project and made a disciplinary sanction to three ministers for non -compliance with his decrees. In particular, it was about the fact that the budget draft did not take into account pension reform.
