The court extended the detention of the Northern Brotherhood ideologist

In September 2012, the Gagarinsky District Court of Moscow extended the detention of one of the founders and leaders of the Northern Brotherhood organization, Pyotr Khomyakov.

Let us remind you that P. Khomyakov is accused under Part 1 of Art. 282.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (organization of an extremist community) and Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud committed by an organized group or on an especially large scale).

He fully admitted his guilt and declared his intention to apply for consideration of his case in a special manner.

Pyotr Khomyakov, together with Anton Mukhachev (Fly), Alexander Mironov (Falcon), Oleg Troshkin and “ other unidentified persons ” created the far-right group “Northern Brotherhood” (the organization was recognized as extremist in August 2012, the organization’s website was recognized as extremist in March 2008) , and in October 2007 - the Internet project “Big Game. Break the System" (the project was recognized as extremist in January 2010). Khomyakov organized propaganda and agitation of the community's ideas, recruited supporters, financed activities, participated in meetings of leaders, and performed other leadership functions.

In particular, Khomyakov organized the distribution of books he wrote, published as part of the “Svarogov Square” series. Among these publications was the book “Ours and Others: The Drama of Ideas.” In 2007, he wrote and distributed the book “Technotronic Avesta: The Sacred Cosmogony of the White Man.” In both books, experts saw signs of inciting hatred.

In addition, Khomyakov, using his official position - the position of deputy head of the geoecological survey department of Spetsmetroproekt LLC, committed the theft of the organization's funds in the amount of more than 3 million rubles.

The investigation of this criminal case was carried out by the Investigative Directorate of the FSB of the Russian Federation.

A. Mukhachev and O. Troshkin have already been convicted.

In September 2011, Khomyakov was arrested by the Russian FSB.
