K. Khamidov was arrested, suspected of committing an attack on journalist Sergei Aslanyan “for reasons of hatred”

September 28, 2012 Nagatinsky Court of Moscow authorized the arrest of Kamoliddin Khamidov (born 1994), suspected of assaulting journalist Sergei Aslanyan, until October 23, 2012.

A criminal case has been initiated against K. Khamidov case under n. «b» h. 2 Article. 115 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (deliberate infliction minor health damage motives of political, ideological, racial, national or religious hate).

The judge emphasized that “ I issued an arrest warrant, since the accused had previously been hiding from the authorities investigations with close relatives in Kyrgyzstan ”.

Recall that in night May 29, 2012 journalist Sergey Aslanyan received 20 non-penetrating stab wounds.
