The Kuntsevsky court of Moscow did not see the actions of Pussy Riot as mockery of believers

On October 3, 2012, the Kuntsevsky District Court of Moscow denied Ivan Kvasnitsky, the head of the Club of Orthodox Large Families of Berdsk, a claim for compensation for moral damage by members of the Pussy Riot group.

I. Kvasnitsky demanded that N. Tolokonnikova, M. Alekhina and E. Samutsevich pay him 30 thousand rubles as compensation for “ insulting his religious feelings, expressed in the form of mockery and parody of believers ” during the action held in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior .
