An Orthodox resident of Kazan was denied compensation for the “moral suffering” he received during a Muslim picket

October 2, 2012 Novo-Savinovsky District Court of Kazan refused to satisfy the claim of Andrey Zheleznov-Lipets demanding compensation for "moral harm" from imams Rustem Safin and Mars Akhmetov.

According to the plaintiff, "open propaganda of religious superiority Muslims" during the rally 19 August, he, as an "Orthodox believer", "inflicted moral suffering." As moral compensation, he asked for 2,000 rubles.
