Voronezh: case of public justification of terrorism and incitement of hatred sent to court

In October 2012, the Voronezh Region completed investigation of the case of public justification of terrorism (part 1 of article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and initiation of national and religious hatred (part 1 of article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The case has already been referred to the court for consideration on the merits.

A 20-year-old student of the Voronezh Forest Engineering Academy will soon be in the dock Osman Botashev, who is accused of posting on his social media page network "VKontakte" audio recordings "Appeal of Amir Emarat Caucasus Doki Abu Usman”, as well as the video “Genocide of the Ingush”.

Recall, earlier it was reported that in the Voronezh region a criminal case was initiated under similar articles against the 21-year-old student who published on the social network "VKontakte" an audio clip "Appeal Doku Umarov” and videos “Genocide of the Ingush” and “Palestine”.

Unfortunately, it is not clear from the reports of law enforcement agencies whether these are different cases or the same thing, it’s just that in one of the news there were mistakes were made (student's age: 21 or 20 years old, title of the audio clip: "Appeal of Doku Umarov" or "Appeal of Doki Abu Usman").
